David Turk, MD, FACS

David S. Turk, MD, FACS completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology at the University of Cincinnati in 1990. He graduated from the Medical College of Ohio with a degree in medicine in 1994. He performed research at Yale University School of Medicine. He served his urology residency at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Turk has research experience and publication credits in the field of lead poisoning, and laser vaporization of the prostate. As a urologist, he has extensive experience in laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, and benign prostate surgery. His personal interests include cycling, travel, singing, and skiing. He is married and has four children. He joined SouthWest Urology, Inc. in July 2000.

Dr. Turk is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

In 2009, Dr. Turk won an award for LIFE™ laser therapy, presented by the American Urological Association.

Dr. Turk is an approved surgeon using the da Vinci® minimally invasive system.
